Lewis Maule

Lewis founded Maule Executive Search International. The firm head-hunts rather than advertises, works from relationships held over several years, and judges a placement on whether the person is still in the seat two years later.

He recruits commercial leaders, quantum experts and delay analysts for high-value claims and major capital programmes. It is a small and technical market. Most of the people worth approaching are not looking, and credibility in front of a tribunal counts for more than a CV.

The sectors follow the programmes rather than one specialism: data centres and the hyperscale build-out, aviation and airport infrastructure, healthcare and life sciences, defence, nuclear, energy and renewables, rail and transit, water and utilities, and commercial and residential development. The senior disciplines are much the same across all of them. What changes is the client, who expects you to already know how their programmes are procured and where they usually go wrong.

Lewis lives in the UK with his family. Outside work it is mostly the kids and football, and the family sausage dog is never far away.
