Frank Crossley

Frank came to search from software engineering. He has a computer science degree and spent several years building enterprise systems inside one of the Big Four, in a regulated environment where a platform has to work for tens of thousands of people from day one.

He has since co-founded two technology businesses and led the engineering in both. His day-to-day work is AI systems architecture: the agent pipelines, data platforms and workflow tooling that firms are trying to move from a demo into production.

He still works as a practitioner here. The research, scoring and outreach platform behind every Maule search is his, which is why a search starts from a mapped market rather than a job board.

For clients the work takes two forms. He hires technology, engineering and operations leadership, and briefs those roles as someone who has done the job. Where the problem turns out to be a process rather than a person, he builds the system instead.

Frank is based in the UK and travels whenever the work allows. So far: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Belgium, Romania, China, India, Vietnam, St Lucia and the Seychelles.
